The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a partnership between parents and educators who strive to enhance student learning and enrich the lives of the students within the school. It is also a forum for parents to obtain knowledge and voice their opinions about what is happening in their school. A member of the school board and an AVS administrator also provides updates on current events at each PTA meeting. Everyone is welcome!
At our Monthly PTA Meetings we…
- Discuss upcoming events & fundraisers.
- Receive an update from either our Principal or vice principal on what is going on in the school.
- Receive an update from a member of the school board.
- Receive an update on the financial reports, where is PTA money going?
- Build relationships with the school staff & other PTA members to collaborate on past, present & future events.
